We started this club because we know the feeling: you pick up a book to escape, and somewhere in the middle, cancer shows up anyway. A side character. A backstory. A plot twist you didn't ask for.
We wanted a place where that couldn't happen. So we built one.
Every single pick here is read cover to cover by two people who live this — not just readers, but people who understand exactly what you're carrying when you open a book looking for somewhere else to be. One rule, no exceptions: no cancer, in any form, anywhere in the story.
But this isn't just a vetting service. It's a community of people who get it without you having to explain it — who show up to the same discussion, root for the same characters, and understand why no cancer matters more than any five-star review. You don't have to justify wanting an escape here. You just get one, alongside people who need the same thing you do.

How It Works
Each month, we hand-pick one fully vetted read and share it with everyone at the same time — so you always have people to talk to about what you're reading.
Every pick is cancer-free. No exceptions, no content warnings, no fine print. If it passed our vetting, you can just read it.
